Biological Report on Oak Woodlands Released

Denise Duffy & Associates (DD&A) released the Final Baseline Biological Report on the Oak Woodland Conservation Area Project. Presentation to Monterey Peninsula College Governing Board of Trustees

Michael A. Houlemard, Jr., Fort Ord Reuse Authority Executive Officer, was invited to present a general update to the Governing Board of Trustees at their October 25th public meeting. Community Meetings Held

At Seaside Community Center, Soper Field and Trackview Pavilion, Laguna Seca, Community Meetings were held to discuss Oak Woodland Policy and Programs in areas slated for development in City of Seaside and Monterey County’s former Fort Ord lands. Attendees learned what City of Seaside and Monterey County are envisioning for Coast Live Oak Woodland management.

Public Participation Plan

Monterey County, City of Seaside, and CDVA agreed to a Public Participation Plan set forth by DD&A at their October meeting. Website development, public meetings and a timeline are set and can be viewed in the Get Involved section of this website.
